 laviaton's principal activity is making and repairing historic keyboard instruments and restoring period pieces. We make and repair clavichords, spinets, virginals, single and double manual harpsichords and fortepianos. Our workshop focuses on making exact copies of originals, and - drawing on the structural principles, ornamentation, and mechanism of these - we develop and build new models, too.

instruments have been exhibited at many an international and Hungarian forum,
including the Musikmesse Frankfurt, the Brugge and Versailles instrument
shows, the Musicexpo Budapest, and exhibitions in Abony and Székesfehérvár
(Hungary). Our customers range from
acclaimed artists and early music groups to music academies, conservatoires
and music schools, in Hungary, Europe and the United States. |
